As the leading economies of the West start feeling the crunch of sky-rocketing prices and crippling housing markets, Sierra Leoneans feel that our country may once again slip back into pre-election times. Some of the criticisms include: inadequate or no electricity, joblessness, sky-rocketing prices, corruption, and on and on.

History is to blame for all of this, rightly or wrongly. The Koroma regime has had a good start at finding remedies. Perhaps more time is needed to allow things to settle down. A lot has happened; and it probably would take three years for Sierra Leoneans to start feeling the effects of lasting change.
